Football Friday NFL Picks, Giants Over Panthers

I got to run today, so this is short. I’m picking the Giants for the rest of the regular season. This week, the New York Football Giants will beat the Carolina Panthers. This game is huge. The winner gets the top spot in the playoffs with a week off and home field throughout the playoffs. The Giants have not been playing well for the last two weeks, Jacobs has a bum knee, no one has stepped up to replace Plaxico, but this is still the defending Super Bowl Champs with six pro-bowlers (if you put stock in that, personally I think Rogers should have been picked ahead of Eli Manning). They know they need to win this game to wrap up the number one spot and they are going to get it. Panthers are a tough team with, maybe without Jacobs playing for the Giants, a better running game and a great pass rusher in Peppers. Their quarter back is up and down, but he has had a big game in the Super Bowl. It’s going to be a great game, but Big Blue comes out on top.
